I'm tweakin'

So it's been about 3 months since my first jump and I am getting itchy. I have read the skydivers handbook... twice... BASE 66, countless articles online, went through the youtube database and surfed every skydiving merchandise page out there. Why is the warm weather not coming faster... All I'm asking for is 50 degree's.... maybe 40. I know I have only made one jump but I think I am officially addicted to a sport that I have almost no experience in. My name is Dan and I have a problem. Stick out tongue <img src= ">

Around March 15, we'll all be getting together for "Safety Day"

You'll defintely want to make it for that as we'll probably do some jumps that weekend if the weather cooperates. Stay tuned and look for announcement from John.

It really does sound like you really might be hooked. Start shopping for a rig. At this point I'd recommend getting a couple more credit card accounts, and maybe even taking out a home appliance loan or something. Stick out tongue [:P]

Nah....... Just "wing it"..... Thats what I have done! Esp if you chop and cant find ANY of the pieces!!! har har....

Somehow or another the "everyday bills still get paid dude! ;)

You can tell the guys/gals who have yet to jump in freakin' freezing weather. Ya don't have a clue yet! My first freezin' cold jump, I should have seen the signs.... John shutting the door to the training room, pluggin in prolly half a dozen space heaters and turning them on high to heat up the room. If that wasn't enough, pulling out the dz blankets and tossing them in the "hot house" should have sent that little bell in the head a clangin'. But nope, I was oblivious. I know now!!! It was friggin', and I mean friggin', cold and I know everyone on the ground was laughing their asses off during our whole ride to altitude.

Hey BABY Dee!!! How goes it witcha? I ABSOLUTELY love jumpin the cold weather! I have jumps here in Illinois in January... I think Clint and few jumped last week from what ellie told me.... Arrgh!! I would of come out then but didnt know til later.. but Who would of thought to call anyway. But in the end it didnt matter I had to work a 12hrday ARGH AGAIN!!... My rig has been indate since Hector left for Fl just waiting for an opportunity to fly it! yeah baby....

Hey back atcha Danny Dan!!! I personally like my fingers and toes warm, so I will leave the cold weather jumping to you. I haven't been doing to bad, just working lots and lots of long days. Hopefully, the schedule will finally settle down a bit and I will be out on weekends trying to get a few more jumps in this year than I did last. How u been?
