I just wanted to officially introduce myself. My name is Dan, and my wife Danielle (I know... same name) and I stopped by on Sunday to check the DZ out and get some information so we can start the process of getting our licenses. This is something that we have wanted to do for some time now and the time has finally come to start. We are planning on doing our first jump on October 13th, Danielle's birthday, but we are waiting on a few friends to decide if they are going to join us so we can give you guys a heads up on the number of people coming.
A little about myself... I work for the Champaign County Sheriffs Office, I've been there for about two and a half years. I am a runner, distance cyclist and love triathlons. Danielle and I both just got our advanced SCUBA license. She is an ecology major and works part time. We both crave anything that will give us that adrenaline high.
I look forward to meeting all of you.

WE (and I think that I can speak for "the Family") are happy that you shouwed up, got schooled, got in your gear, got in da plane, and got out and on da ground!!! WE think it is AWESOME TOO!!
